Having gone through the My boutique trial program, Noemia Louvet has just opened a haberdashery in the city center of Mantes-la-Jolie (Yvelines).

It is now done with the opening since Wednesday, November 3 of the O Fil du Temps boutique in rue Henri-Rivière.
It is Noemia Louvet, a 42-year-old Brazilian, who arrived in Mantes-la-Jolie last year, who is at the head of this new business located in the premises of the former Saddlery.
Sewing workshops soon
We worked hard to open, I'm very happy to be here. The other haberdasheries remained open for 30 years. Here, there are not yet all the references but it will come. We will add products according to the wishes of the customers. The idea is not to clutter all the space, to take advantage of the large bay window, but to have all the necessary in terms of embroidery, knitting and sewing.

To open her haberdashery, Noemia Louvet went through the Ma boutique à l'essai competition launched in Mantes by the Initiative Seine Yvelines association.
“For three years, I will benefit from support for everything related to the management of the store. Then it will be up to me to manage. The idea is to stay here for the long term. »
A little Brazilian touch
In addition to the traditional products that can be found in a haberdashery (wool, ribbons, straps, elastics, threads, canvas, fabric, buttons, etc.), Noemia Louvet wishes to stand out by offering sewing workshops.
Starting in early December, I would like to do three three-hour workshops per week. It will be free workshops where people can bring their projects and materials. My role will be to accompany them for the patronage, the assembly, the cut... I am currently looking for an intern to assist me during the workshops.

And for Noemia Louvet, it's impossible not to bring a little Brazilian touch to her boutique. “The chairs and the curtains were made with a Brazilian fabric. To add a little musical atmosphere, I also planned to play bossa nova at the end of the day. »
An official inauguration of the store is scheduled for December 2.
