Fabric trends 2020 (3/3): fibers and materials

The last part of our 2020-2021 fabric trends focuses on the materials that publishers valued in their latest creations.

Linen, velvet, cotton, silk, viscose ... In the world of interior fabrics, materials are never as beautiful as when you choose simple, natural and authentic.Within this heavy trend, Ideat has identified united majority collections in order to better reveal the beauty of weaving, impressions and embroidery.


This velvet from the "Manifesto" collection, by Jane Clayton (Nobilis), is inspired by the DRIPPING paintings by the American painter Jackson Pollock (1912-1956).


In this piece with ecru tones, association of two different fabrics (Sahara Stripes and Gaia), both in linen and available at Berengère Leroy.

It was by browsing Belgium that the creator Bernie de Le Cuona discovered the richness of the Lins and their textures.On this chair, Fox fabric;Around, stardust stripes (from Le Cuona/Ido Diffusion).


Between the Silas and Sonar 3 cushions in wool velvet, viscose and linen, wool plaid Sigmar 2 (the whole is signed by the Belgian designer Raf Simons for the Danish specialist Kvadrat).
