I promise you: how to reproduce the decoration according to the times

Between the 1970s and the present day, "I promise you" retraces the turbulent life of the Gallo family. A dive through the centuries and styles, like so many possible decorative inspirations. Decryption.

Adapted from "This is us", a successful American series, "I promise you" returns to the small screen. While TF1 is currently broadcasting the second season, we take the opportunity to hear from the Gallo siblings. Tender and endearing characters who cross the ages with their secrets, their love stories and their doubts. With emotional flashbacks, we navigate between the 70s and now, enough to take a good dose of nostalgia and decorative ideas.

How to copy the different decorations of I promise you

In this family saga, houses and apartments become refuges where intrigues are woven. First there is the room of the young Florence Gallo, not yet the mother of the triplets, but already a musician. Condensation of 70s decor with its psychedelic prints and rattan. In 2022, we are inspired by it to adopt the hippie style in our bedroom. The XXL patterns are still invited on the curtains, but are more contemporary, the rattan is lighter and mattified. And if we keep the accumulation of cushions, we prefer them more bohemian than crochet.
Closer to us, Mickaël's minimalist apartment catches our eye with its designer furniture in clear. Centerpiece of the living room, a curvaceous white sofa to accommodate the entire tribe.
